Middays with Mannix & Mannix: Joe and Derrik Trybus 8/18/22
Two members of the Cal Ripken 12U World Series champion Andy Valley joined us to talk about the experience of winning a title in Waterville. Manager Joe Trybus and his son, middle infielder Derrik Trybus, talked about playing at Little Wrigley and Little Fenway, the team’s comradery, and the upcoming celebrations of the achievement.
Middays with Mannix & Mannix: Noah Riskind 8/18/22
Noah Riskind joined us to talk about his appointment as the Interim Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater. Riskind played for the Bates Bobcats from 2012-15 and has been an assistant coach there since 2020.
Middays with Mannix & Mannix: Tracey Leone 8/17/22
Tracey Leone joined us to talk about her new appointment as the women’s soccer coach at Colby. She also talked about her time coaching at Northeastern, helping found the women’s soccer program at Clemson, being a member of the staff the New Zealand women’s national team, and her experience of winning the first ever Women’s World Cup with the US Women’s National Team in 1991.
