Allison Whittemore, a Mainer and the new interim field hockey coach of the Colby Mules, joined us to talk about taking over a program that her older sister Caitlyn played for. Whittemore also talked about how playing Division I field hockey at Providence helped shape her life and coaching philosophy. She also talks about the collaborative nature of field hockey in Maine.

Two members of the Cal Ripken 12U World Series champion Andy Valley joined us to talk about the experience of winning a title in Waterville. Manager Joe Trybus and his son, middle infielder Derrik Trybus, talked about playing at Little Wrigley and Little Fenway, the team’s comradery, and the upcoming celebrations of the achievement.
