Allison Whittemore, a Mainer and the new interim field hockey coach of the Colby Mules, joined us to talk about taking over a program that her older sister Caitlyn played for. Whittemore also talked about how playing Division I field hockey at Providence helped shape her life and coaching philosophy. She also talks about the collaborative nature of field hockey in Maine.

Matt Coyne, the new head football coach of the Bates Bobcats joined us to discuss his appointment, his time as the defensive coordinator and player at fellow NESCAC school Wesleyan, and a deep, experienced, and talented roster joining him for his first season.

Pat Norwood and Kaylee Bates from the Maine General Health Sports Medicine Team joined us to talk about two common injuries for cross country runners: plantar fasciitis and shin splints. We talked about what to do once one of those injuries happens and how to prevent them in the first place.
