North Yarmouth Academy Panthers softball coach Ricky Doyon joined us to chat about winning the Class D state championship (the school’s first) with a program that didn’t field a varsity team the year before. He’s also the girls soccer coach at NYA, which also won a state championship in the fall of 2022, making Doyon one of the only coaches in Maine to win state championships with two different programs in the same academic year.

Maine Mayhem women’s tackle football player Rebecca Silva joined us to talk about the Mayhem’s trip to the Women’s Football Alliance Division 3 Eastern Conference Final in Palm Beach, Florida this weekend, with a berth in the championship game at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on the line.
