Dan Venezio, the club pro at Portland Country Club, joined us to talk about winning the 2026 New England PGA Section championship on his home course earlier this month, giving him a chance to qualify for the 2027 PGA Championship. He’ll participate in a qualifier in Florida at the end of April 2027. If he Venezio makes it, it will be the second time he’s reached the PGA Championship. He participated in the 2015 PGA Championship at Whistling Straights in Wisconsin.
